FILM ROLE IN THE FINISHED STRUCTURE
Appearance only works when the converting surfaces are compatible.
For labels and graphic laminates, the desired metallic finish is only one part of the specification. The ink, coating, adhesive, print face, bond face, and finishing route determine whether a selected metallized film performs as intended on the converter’s line.
BOPP and PET offer different starting points for handling and structure design. The right choice should follow the actual label or laminate build, rather than an appearance description alone.
